Crafted in teak, the chairs feature distinctive tripod frames with beautifully considered joinery and sculptural detailing. The rounded backrests and generous seats have been professionally reupholstered in high-quality Dedar Alpaca wool, bringing a soft, tactile finish to the warm character of the teak. With their elegant proportions and striking construction, these chairs are a particularly desirable and uncommon pair to find.
Bent Møller Jepsen was a Danish designer known for his understated approach to furniture, combining sculptural forms with practical construction and a strong appreciation for natural materials. His work reflects the characteristic Danish modern aesthetic of the 1950s and 60s, where craftsmanship, proportion and functionality were carefully balanced. His furniture is increasingly sought after for its distinctive character and rarity, particularly pieces that demonstrate his inventive approach to structure and form.
