It features a simple, functional design with clean lines and multiple compartments for organization. Build up with solely the use of wood joints, not a single drop of glue or hardware was used. The cabinet reflects Gerli's focus on practical, adaptable furniture suited for both home and office use. This particular version is set up to be used as a desk as well and can be used in a variation of interiors.
The back of the cabinet is also finished so it can be used as a freestanding piece or room divider.
Eugenio Gerli (1923–2013) was an Italian architect and furniture designer known for blending modernist principles with traditional craftsmanship. He collaborated with companies like Tecno, creating innovative furniture pieces that balanced form and function. Gerli’s work often featured clean lines, modular elements, and thoughtful material choices, contributing to the evolution of mid-century Italian design.
