Their bold yet fluid silhouettes create a commanding presence, with high, wingback backrests and gracefully curved armrests that envelop the sitter in comfort. The solid wooden frames, subtly tapered at the legs, showcase Italian modernist principles—balancing structural integrity with a light, floating aesthetic.
Reupholstered in Dedar ‘Belsuede’ fabric, a rich and tactile textile, these chairs have been completely restored while maintaining their original design integrity. The deep, charcoal/anthracite-toned fabric highlights the sculptural quality of the frames, complementing the smooth curvature of the armrests and backrests. The wooden frames have been gently restored, preserving their authentic patina while allowing for minor refinishing upon request.
These chairs exemplify Bega’s distinctive fusion of form and function, seamlessly integrating architectural sensibility with ergonomic comfort. They are a rare and sophisticated addition for collectors and connoisseurs of mid-century Italian furniture, blending historical significance with timeless appeal.
