In patinated original leather, with elegant signs of age and use.
The model features a steel frame combined with original cognac leather upholstery, reflecting the industrial materials and restrained forms associated with the period.
Fabricius and Kastholm worked together throughout the 1960s and became known for furniture designs combining steel constructions with leather upholstery. Their work focused on functional forms, clear lines, and industrial production methods, and is associated with Scandinavian modernism and international modern design.
Kill International was a German furniture manufacturer founded in 1953. The company collaborated with several international designers and produced modern furniture for residential, public, and office interiors during the post-war period.
Condition
The lounge chairs are in good vintage condition. The armrests appear to have been added later in the factory production process and the chairs were found in their basement. The original cognac leather shows signs of use and patina. The piping of the cushions received some additional restoration.
The piping remains in good condition and the leather has been professionally nourished. The frame has some strong patina on some parts which is in line with the age of the chair and they have been structurally checked.Cushions suitable for regular use, however usage with some respect for their age is advised.
We have consciously chosen to photograph all of our items in their current state to present the real original condition as completely as possible for transparency towards our clients.
In case you have any additional questions about the original condition, always feel free to reach out and ask us for additional images. We do also offer services such as restoration and re-upholstery in case this is wished for.Provenance
