Originating from Scandinavia in the 1960s, the chairs share similarities with Arne Jacobsen’s 'Grand Prix' chair and his iconic butterfly chair. What sets these chairs apart is their solid teak frame with rounded details, adding a unique touch to the design. The combination of wood and plywood reflects the functional, minimalist style of mid-century Scandinavian furniture. These chairs are both practical and visually appealing, suitable for a variety of seating settings
Condition
The chairs are in overall good condition. The oil finish is a bit faded which emphasizes the age of these chairs. Sturdy structure, solid wood joints. Minor signs of use around the legs of the chairs.
