This wooden desk or writing table was produced in Italy in the 1960s and reflects Rationalist design principles. It is built for two-sided use, with two drawers on each side....This wooden desk or writing table was produced in Italy in the 1960s and reflects Rationalist design principles. It is built for two-sided use, with two drawers on each side. The layout allows access from both directions, making it suitable for shared or co-working. The desk features a flat, rectangular top designed as a work surface. The base consists of double curved legs that provide structural support and define the overall form. All construction components are made from solid wood and the surfaces of the desk are finished with a stained birch veneer. The design emphasizes balance and symmetry, with functional elements integrated into a clear and organized structure. This configuration highlights an approach to workspace furniture in 1960s Italy.
Condition
The desk has been completely restored with a new finish and stain. Leaving very minor age related signs of age and use visible. You may always ask for a more detailed condition report when preferred.
