This Italian mid-century pair of wall lights from the 1960s showcases the era's approach to design, combining simple shapes with practical materials. The lights feature pastille-shaped diffusers made from two molded glass pieces, joined by a perforated metal sheet in the center. This design creates a soft, diffused light while adding a sculptural element to the fixtures highlighting the contrast between materials. The combination of glass and metal reflects Italian craftsmanship and the mid-century modern style, making it a standout piece. The design is similar to those by Studio B.B.P.R. for Artemide and Ignazio Gardella.

    Condition
These wall lights show signs of age and use on the stem which creates a unique strong patina. One of the armatures is slightly more brown and the other one is slightly more blue/greenish. The glass is beautifully in tact with some small discoloration and rust throughout the glass.

We have consciously chosen to photograph all of our items in their current state to present the real original condition as completely as possible for transparency towards our clients.

In case you have any additional questions about the original condition, always feel free to reach out and ask us for additional images. We do also offer services such as restoration and re-upholstery in case this is wished for.
