Each chair has been professionally restored with a dark-stained steam-bent beech frame and is upholstered in...This set features two fully restored Italian lounge chairs dating back to the 1960s. Each chair has been professionally restored with a dark-stained steam-bent beech frame and is upholstered in a delicate Pierre Frey 'Yeti' fabric, color Orang Outan.
The seats are reclining/adjustable, sliding along the sculptural frame to provide personalized comfort while maintaining the clean lines and functional elegance of mid-century design. Carefully restored, these chairs retain their original form and structural integrity, making them both practical and appealing.
The design reflects the work of notable mid-century designers such as Adrian Pearsall and Vladimir Kagan, as well as Brazilian-inspired modernist styles.
Condition
These two chairs differ slightly in dimensions and proportions, as they were not originally a matching set. The frames have been restored with respect for their age and their stability has been checked. The chairs have been upholstered in a high-quality fabric by Pierre Frey, Yeti, Color, F3290014 - Orang Outan.
They were restored and reupholstered by the same craftsmen, using the same fabric. In the photos we have tried to highlight the differences as clearly as possible. If you have any questions about these differences, please feel free to ask.
We have consciously chosen to photograph all of our items in their current state to present the real original condition as completely as possible for transparency towards our clients.
