Extremely unusual set of 8 chairs manufactured in green lacquered fibreglass and a wooden base. Originally designed and manufactured by Artemide, these specific models are designed by Poalo Orlandi and Roberto Lucci after they obtained the production rights from Artemide and slightly adjusted the design. Being designed originally for mass production, this specific set with a wood V-shaped base are highly rare and very uncommon. The chair remains stackable however it is supposed to be used in a persons interior rather then a corporate environment. The green Chinese lacquer give the chairs their high gloss finish, being a fresh addition to plenty of interiors. The wooden base, which has been stained to a darker walnut color adds a warm touch to the 'harder' fibreglass (GRP/Glass Reinforced Polyester).
Very comfortable seat and back support.
Condition The fibreglass overall is in extremely good condition showing minor surface scratches, 1 chair with an old repair, (images available upon request). Frames in good condition, wood joints checked. Minor scratches and signs of use.
