This pair of table or wall lamps was designed by Gastone Colliva and manufactured in Italy in the 1950s. The lamps are made from painted metal and brass. They feature a sculptural form and can be used either as table lamps or wall-mounted lights. Each lamp has a structure that allows for dual functionality. The materials and construction are consistent with mid-century Italian design practices. The lamps have a geometric form and are representative of Colliva's known design style during that period.

Gastone Colliva was an Italian designer active in the mid-20th century. He worked primarily with metal and brass. His designs often included functional elements and geometric shapes. Colliva produced lighting and other objects during the 1960s. His work is associated with Italian industrial design of that era. Pieces by Colliva are included in various private and public collections.

    Condition

These table lamps show some small age related user marks visible to the metal and brass. The brass shows a subtle patina which can be seen on the images.

We have consciously chosen to photograph all of our items in their current state to present the real original condition as completely as possible for transparency towards our clients.

In case you have any additional questions about the original condition, always feel free to reach out and ask us for additional images. We do also offer services such as restoration and re-upholstery in case this is wished for.
